Here at Hearne Marble & Granite we believe that every project is a project worth doing well, with over 30 years of experience in the production, finishing and installation of worktops, walls and other stone we can guarantee that we won’t be beaten for quality.

Our Process

Cutting

Initially large stone slabs are cut on our computer controlled saw, this allows us to very accurately dimension the stone and make the most of the slab.

Polishing

Diamond abrasives are used to gradually polish the slab to a perfect surface finish.

Machining

Computer operated routers cut features such as sink or cooktop holes, then shape and polish the edges of the slab into dupont, waterfall, ogee, bullnose or other stone edge shapes.

Finishing

Our stone worktops are then finished by expert masons, to ensure a flawless product with perfect fit at installation time.
